On the official website of the Agency of Defense’s Advanced Development U.S. DARPA has information on the budget for 2011 fiscal year, which laid plans to create synthetic organisms with an infinitely renewable life cycle. The project is called BioDesign, on its development plans to spend $ 6 million, reports Wired.com.

It is assumed that the composition of these synthetic organisms will include molecules that increase resistance to cell destructive processes, ultimately leading to the death of the organism.

In addition, these organisms are not able to reprogram the enemy, and in case of unforeseen situations, they will self-destruct.
