What do you call counterfeit jewelry

Fake stamp

In the article "green fingers" it is assumed: If stamped, then genuine.

Why?
Whole watches are faked with a lot of effort, and after all, anyone can knock into something gold-plated / silver-plated.
Why can you assume that the stamp says something?
Is there really no / hardly any so far?
Did I find a gap in the market?

Well, it is clear:
if I am accused of fraud then at least after I have ripped off many euros with Autobahn gold, for example, and not because of a few "fake" silver rings.
Must be worth it.

Therefore one can dare to say that stamped silver jewelry is usually real.

In addition, the title "fake stamps" is not chosen entirely happily. It is not the stamps that are forged but the jewelry that is stamped with them (if it does not correspond to the stamped number).

Frank

So do I understand it to mean that the stamp is less reliable with gold than with silver?

At least I haven't come across any fake jewelry stamped as silver.
In the case of a device, e.g. a jug, I can imagine that there is also one.

But you can't completely rule it out either.

As Frank says, the profit margin on gold is much larger.

Autobahngold is just one example of "fake stamps"

The stamps that are used are based on the stamps that are often used on clocks.

The double stitching is supposed to dispel any doubts.
It's also practical, then you recognize it right away: mrgreen:

There is also fraud with silver jewelry, occasionally silver-plated costume jewelry is stamped as .925, or the alloy is only 500 and still has the stamp .925 on it.

Of course, the "profit" for the fraudster can be greater with gold, but many do not look so closely at silver, so it is easier to get the junk among the people. That's why no 500, - euro bills are forged, but rather the 20, - and 50, - euro

I also sometimes wonder what great importance is seen in the stamp. Our Zarges aluminum boxes are all stamped with .925
