Test winner! Studienkreis is convincing across the board

In February 2021, the German Institute for Service Quality awarded the study group for the third time in a row as Test winner of the tutoring institutes in comparison. The study on behalf of the news broadcaster n-tv showed: Studienkreis offers the best conditions of the tested tutoring providers. The overall winner of the Studienkreis took first place in four out of six categories.

The Studienkreis is Service Champion 2020

The study group can call itself "Service Champion" again. This is the current result of Germany's largest service ranking, which is carried out annually by ServiceValue GmbH in cooperation with the daily newspaper DIE WELT and the Goethe University Frankfurt.

Current and past customers of nine tutoring companies were asked if they had experienced very good service. The study group performed best with its customers and received the seal of "Service Champion No. 1 for tutoring providers".

For the second time in a row, the study group enjoys the highest level of customer trust of all tutoring providers in Germany. That was the result of the confidence ranking of the magazine WirtschaftsWoche 2020.

Our students - as individual as our support

I always tell my friends that it's great to be in the study group because we really always go through everything that I didn't understand.

Why did you start tutoring? What has changed since then?
I started tutoring at the Studienkreis because my grades in English weren't good and I didn't have time for free time and, above all, for my hobby hockey. After I started tutoring, I finally had more time for my free time - and I even enjoy the subject.

How was your first tutoring session at the Studienkreis? What do you remember?
I can't really remember because I was a bit excited too. But we have discussed where my difficulties are in this subject.

What do you like about tutoring, what do you dislike? What would you tell a friend about class?
I like the lessons because we deal with different things every time and the teachers are not as strict as at my school. I also always tell my friends that it's great that we really go through everything that I didn't understand.

When do you enjoy learning and when do you not?
I enjoy learning when the teachers let us try to solve the tasks on the blackboard or when they use facial expressions and gestures to explain.

Do you have friends in your study group?
Yes, I made friends relatively quickly in my study group in the study group.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my spare time I like to play hockey for my life and also do something with friends.

What would your friends name as a characteristic of you?
My friends would describe me as humorous, honest, personable, a bit crazy and helpful.

What I remember best from the study group was the nice teacher.

Why did you start tutoring? What has changed since then?
I was sent for tutoring by my parents because I got a 4 overall in math. In the meantime I have improved my math and understood the topics to be repeated well.

How was your first tutoring session at the Studienkreis? What do you remember?
In my first lesson I didn't know how it was going and was accordingly nervous. But it was pretty relaxed. What I remember best is the nice teacher who answered all of my questions and was able to help me very well.

What do you like about the tutoring, what don't you like? What would you tell a friend about class?
I like that the teachers are very nice and explain things in an understandable way for young people. What I didn't like was that some teachers can't assert themselves well when it gets loud. I would recommend the lessons to my friend because you can learn and understand well in a relaxed working atmosphere.

When do you enjoy learning and when do you not?
Learning is fun when you feel comfortable where you are. This works especially well when you have snacks and drinks. Sitting alone at your desk, bent over your notebook and tired, that is unsightly work.

Do you have friends in your study group?
I wasn't in a study group with friends, but the other students were nice.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I do parkour running, meet friends / talk on the phone and go geo-coaching with my brother.

What would your friends name as a characteristic of you?
My friends would say that I'm nice, pretty crazy, and willing to take risks.

The teachers in the study group take great care of the students.

Why did you start tutoring? What has changed since then?
I started tutoring because I noticed that I still had problems in some subjects. I wanted to fix these problems by going to tutoring and also to improve my grades.

How was your first tutoring session at the Studienkreis? What do you remember?
My first tutoring at the Studienkreis was really good. I got on well with my tutors right from the start and they were also able to help me directly with my problems.

What do you like about the tutoring, what don't you like? What would you tell a friend about class?
When it comes to tutoring, I also like that there is always a good mood there and, above all, that there is a good learning atmosphere. The teachers take great care of the students.

When do you enjoy learning and when not?
Of course, learning is sometimes more fun and sometimes not as much fun as, for example, when you have had a long and exhausting day. But when you learn something that you understood well in tutoring, for example, then it's all the more fun.

Do you have friends in your study group?
What I think is cool: I have friends in my study group study group, so of course some that you know from your own school, but also some that you got to know in the study group.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to do a lot of sport, and I've been playing soccer for 12 years now. Because Corona has unfortunately also ended the football season, I go jogging all the more. I also like to meet up with friends to just switch off. I don't only listen to a lot of music when playing soccer or jogging, but also in everyday life because it relaxes or motivates me.

What would your friends name as a characteristic of you?
My friends would describe me as very ambitious and determined, which comes mainly from playing football. In addition, as very helpful and empathetic, because I also like to take care of others. My friends would also describe me as a very happy, funny and generous person who is always in a good mood.

Acting in the theater
I enjoy learning when I realize that I can.

Why did you start tutoring? What has changed since then?
Actually, I only started with the tutoring because I once really messed up a math work. I just had a really bad day and since I only had average grades before, it was important for me to definitely write better for the next work and also for the further work. I would like to do my Abitur and I need better grades. Besides mom and dad, I now have other contacts who can help me, and that just makes me safer.

How was your first tutoring session at the Studienkreis? What do you remember?
I was very excited because I didn't know who was going to teach me and which other youngsters would be there. I should bring my last class work with me to get started. I found that embarrassing because the work was so bad.

What do you like about the tutoring, what don't you like? What would you tell a friend about class?
I can now prepare better for class work and I am becoming more and more confident. That makes me feel good. I didn't like the fact that I had other tutors more often, and that made me feel insecure every time. I don't really tell my friends about tutoring because I don't think anyone really cares. I only tell a friend about it. Because she is the cousin of my tutor. She was even at my school and knows some teachers I have to do with. We get along really well.

When do you enjoy learning and when do you not?
I enjoy learning when I realize that I can. And if, after many attempts, I still don't check anything, then it's difficult to motivate me.

Do you have friends in your study group?
I have no friends in the study group. There are always different people there, but they are mostly nice. I also sit with high school students and sometimes I get good hints and tips from them. They already had all the topics. We laugh a lot with the teachers too.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I've been playing theater in Mülheim an der Ruhr for a few years now and at the moment I'm writing my own director's book with a few others. I like to find out what is happening around the world and I am interested in what politicians are doing and why they make which decisions.

What would your friends name as a characteristic of you?
My friends would say that I am mostly in a good mood, but also very emotional.

Do not just work through - in between a conversation, small talk in English.

Why did you start tutoring? What has changed since then?
I enjoy English, but my grades weren't okay, and I had problems with pronunciation and grammar. Since I want to do the MSA school leaving certificate, I wanted to improve my grades. I improved from an ESA 3 to an MSA 3+ tendency to a 2.

How was your first tutoring session at the Studienkreis? What do you remember?
I was damn nervous, the teacher was really nice. The group was small, so Teacher could talk to me directly and help me.

What do you like about the tutoring, what don't you like? What would you tell a friend about class?
The teachers in the study group are nice and friendly, help me prepare for work, and respond to my subject matter. I can also practice my pronunciation there. The organization of the appointments goes well, even if there are spontaneous failures. I do not use the holiday offer at all. I would say to a friend: come for tutoring, do a trial lesson and you will see that the teachers practice with you what does not go so well - without you feeling bad because you cannot do something.

When do you enjoy learning and when do you not?
Learning is fun if it is taught well and you don't just have to work through, work through, work through. In between, we also like to have a conversation - “small talk” in English.

Do you have friends in your study group?
No, that has to do with the fact that the age groups are pretty mixed.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Play PlayStation, play soccer, play guitar, meet friends.

What would your friends name as a characteristic of you?
It's never boring with Mika, he's funny, sometimes embarrassing because he doesn't take himself seriously and always finds something positive in every situation.

The head of the study group gave me courage.

Why did you start tutoring? What has changed since then?
I started tutoring because my grades in English weren't good; but now I always have at least a 1 or 2 in my vocabulary tests. It's already going better with my class work, but not yet well.

How was your first tutoring session at the Studienkreis? What do you remember?
My first tutoring was very nice. The teacher gave me a lot of learning tips straight away and calmly explained everything to me again. In addition, the first lesson was free and everyone looked after me very well. I can still remember having to tell the management my grades. And I was very uncomfortable, but she didn't scold me or say anything funny. But it gave me courage and in retrospect it wasn't that bad anymore.

What do you like about the tutoring, what don't you like? What would you tell a friend about class?
I love the fun and friendly atmosphere - even now in Corona times. The teachers are funny and help you very well. I like everything about tutoring. I would tell my friends that things are explained in a playful way and that it makes it easier to remember.

When do you enjoy learning and when do you not?
I enjoy learning when I understand the tasks and topics and they are well explained to me. I also think it's nice when you know what you've achieved after a hard day and then understand it. I don't like learning when I'm always distracted, e.g. B. from cell phone. That upsets me very much.

Do you have friends in your study group?
I have friends with tutoring in the study group. I was also in a study group with a friend for a while. But right now there is nobody in my group that I knew before.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to do something with my friends. And if that doesn't work, then I like to sew, paint and do handicrafts. I also play tennis and I go horse riding.

What would your friends name as a characteristic of you?
My friends would name a characteristic of me that I am a bit stubborn, loving, totally environmentally friendly and animal-loving.
