Gladly made, I hope you like it, even if in the sh ... quality. As soon as one or the other pair of pants has reasonably good fadings, I stop again. Currently I'm on the narrower beatle buster (just fresh for a few days) and have also taken out the 634SR, which I should really take under my claw. Spoiled for choice

YOUR selection is indeed very (!) Large ...

I now only have two jeans left. Wear suits Mon - Fri (work-related) so that the denim jackets are only worn in the evening or on weekends. I am already doing a lot of bike tours with my wife and daughter, so that finally fadings arise. Well, it lasts as long as it lasts.

LOL Darren, thank you, I know, I'm pimping up my collection at VMC almost every week, I don't have a family and all that and I go hardcore never this to the office with the IH's (with the cool flannel shirts together) LOOOL. And my dog also contributes a lot to the fact that I live practically non-stop in my pants.

Just like you say, it comes when it comes and when it does it comes right, man. But it's amazing and extraordinary how denim forms a community, I think it's great. My ex sometimes comes into the shop and scratches his head merrily when I go out with one or two IHs ... hihi

    Good Morning all!

I'm now also addicted to raw denim! To get started, I ordered a Pike Brothers from Manufactum and it arrived yesterday!
    Now my questions about it:

    - I usually wear white 32, I have now ordered the pants in 33! Will this still shrink after the first "wash"?
    - It's also a bit too long in length! Does it shrink and what about turning the trouser leg? Go or rather "No Go"
    - Very stupid question, can I sit in the tub with the part so that it adapts to my physical conditions? Or do not let it come into contact with water at first?
    - Are there any other tips for dealing with raw denim?

    Greetings from the Allgäu

    Oliver

    Morning David!

It is sanforized as far as I don't know! So will it die? Also, I thought the part must not come into contact with water (for the time being) ^^?

Oli if it is not sanforized you should definitely soak it so that the fabric can embed itself and the pants live longer. Can also be cold soak so that it doesn't shrink too tight if it fits well. If sanforized, that's not necessary. Cheers

Everyone does it differently. I just wore the pants and washed them at some point.

Your jeans will definitely go down by about one number. I always have to turn my legs because I am a small stump with short legs.
Don't ask what kind of juice.

All right, thanks to both of you! Does that have any disadvantages?

No no downsides especially when cold soak. However, I would always soak trousers that were not sanforized first, as all grandmasters in Japan do. Cheerio

Class thread. Thank you for the many tips. I didn't know japanese denim, but was so excited that yesterday I bought a PBJ at dc4. Nice people there, competent and great service.

Hi Andreas a sanforized pants is not much if at all. Stretch about 1-1.5inch after long periods of wear.

A non-sanforized one comes one size over the day size and after the first warm soak is up to 3 inches in the waistband and up to 2 inches in length and goes to the day size relatively quickly after wearing.

If you wear a belt, the waist will not straighten that much.

good choice, very cool denim, nothing to compare. great irregular weave structure!
ok, not a 25oz iron heart, but that's not ideal in summer anyway, to put it mildly!

which one did it become? the xx005 ??

Thank you Sebastian, if you come across one, be sure to try it! I hesitated almost too long and luckily I got the last one in waist 29.

No, I took the xx-007 slim straight deep indigo. It fit perfectly and the blue is really amazing. That's exactly what I wanted. 14oz is perfect in connection with the slim fit (and the coming summer).
