Exciting added value from digital twins

One of our trade fair highlights is a digital packaging line made up of three digital twins. The line consists of a vertical tubular bag machine, a cartoner and a palletizer with layer pattern formation. We want to show that machine builders can get an idea of ​​how the machines will interact with each other before a line is delivered. Not with statistical methods, but with the real control program and the appropriate sensors. Error states can also be simulated based on the OMAC mode and state model. An OMAC-compliant behavior of the operating states can be checked e.g. on upstream or downstream errors. Operator training on the simulated HMI is thus possible for an entire line. Troubleshooting can also be trained.
