Which song gives you an existential crisis

You in me and I in you

“Then you will recognize and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” (Jn 10, 38b) This is what Jesus says in today's Gospel of John.

"You God in me" - this also applies to us, each and every one of us can guess this for himself:
“At the core of my being, very deep in my innermost center, there is a place where I can be completely myself, where I am completely with myself - with all my doubts and questions, fears and longings, feelings and dreams. "
This your innermost center is the place where God is completely there, touches you lovingly and becomes your living source of strength.

"I in you" - We are also allowed to have this experience in our life:
The experience, in good and bad times, in joy and sorrow, through ups and downs, to be surrounded by the love of God, to be safe in his hands, to be surrounded by his good powers, protected and comforted, like Dietrich Bonhoeffer in describes his song.

The current crisis caused by the corona virus, illness and death, existential hardships in which people are innocent, the feeling of helplessness and powerlessness currently determine our lives.

In this situation, too, let us be carried away by the experiences of a God who becomes a source of strength in us and who gives us security. With trust in this God we can shape life, develop new forms of closeness and community, give consolation, awaken hope and make God tangible in our works.
