The new Maggi quality: It is also vegetarian!

Even those who want to cook vegetarian can fall back on the new Maggi quality. Maggi helps us to prepare delicious recipes quickly, easily and also without meat.

Show recipe for vegetarian red lentil soup

Ingredients:
3 cm ginger peeled and finely diced
2 cloves of garlic, finely diced
3 shallots, finely diced
1 teaspoon ghee or butter
2 glasses of Maggi pure enjoyment vegetable stock
1 can of coconut milk
Spices (e.g. Garam Masala or Daal) / salt / white pepper
1 cube of Maggi herbs & bouillon
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 Ds. chunky tomatoes with chilli
250gr. Red lenses
fresh parsley or coriander

Preparation:

  1. Sweat the first three ingredients, sprinkle with the spices and sauté briefly, add tomato paste and stir briefly.
  2. Deglaze with the stock, add the lentils, coconut milk and tomatoes and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes.
  3. Season to taste with the bouillon cubes and salt and pepper.

Sprinkle with fresh herbs to serve. Naan bread tastes good with it and you have a delicious, vegetarian dish.
