4. Blankets

If you want to sell a product with a high profit margin, consider selling blankets.

Today, consumers are spending more and more money keeping their home cozy and warm during the cold season. According to a study by Future Market Insights, rising demand is fueling the blanket market, which was valued at $ 6.6 billion in 2018 and is estimated to reach an estimated $ 9.9 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 4.6%.

Google Trends confirms this research by showing a noticeable upward trend over the past few years, with sharp spikes during the winter.

Research also shows that people are leaning more towards sustainable blankets, which are also modern, decorative, stylish and comfortable. There is particular demand for wool, with which retailers earn more money than with cotton or polyester blankets. You can also sell custom blankets by partnering with one of the many print-on-demand companies and allowing customers to create their own blankets.

You can sell items like blankets online through paid search ads. Place ads on Google for search terms like "wool blankets" or "fleece blankets", which generate 18,100 and 9,900 search queries, respectively. Depending on the type of blanket you're selling, you can also use more specific search terms like "wool blanket for camping" or "blue and white blanket" to narrow down the buyers with higher intent.

For social media, you can create video content to showcase the benefits of your blankets. Also, think of other creative uses for your products besides keeping them warm in bed. You can also give your customers seasonal freebies to promote new blankets and bestsellers. Or you run Facebook ads for people who want to buy a new blanket.
