The following practitioner reports and interviews show how diverse the career opportunities of mathematicians are. Mathematicians from practically all industries, in a wide variety of positions and across a wide range of career paths report on their experience in industry, specialists represent major fields of activity for mathematicians, and managers outline the recruitment criteria and requirements for mathematicians. A wide range of professional opportunities opens up: whether in intensive mathematical occupation or in areas that are more remote from mathematics, whether in an expert career or as a manager in management.
