Summary

Tested with Canon EOS 60D with EF-S 18-55 IS.

Conclusion

"The frog prince. SLR camera for the highest demands. The swivel monitor makes it easier to take photos from a frog and bird's eye view. Very fast autofocus. Very good flash. Only weakness: backlight reflections with the 18-55 IS set lens. Second lens in the test: 18-135 IS with fewer reflections . "

  • The settings of the 60D are easily accessible via the newly designed user interface
  • The high-resolution, rotatable and swiveling display ensures even more photography fun
  • In terms of image quality, the 60D scores with a good resolution behavior
  • With increasing sensitivity, the noise increases. From ISO 3200 it has a disruptive effect
Conclusion

"With the EOS 60D, Canon has launched an attractive successor to the popular 50D. As in the 7D, you will find an APS-C format 18-megapixel CMOS image sensor with a resolution of up to ISO sensitivity 3200 shows relatively constant. The image noise, however, increases with this semi-professional model from ISO 1600. A top argument for the 60D is the flexibly usable rotating and swiveling display, which can be folded out by 180 degrees and rotated around its own axis. [...] "

"Canon's EOS 60D is a very good all-rounder. A synchro socket would look good on the camera (with Canon only from EOS 7D). However, the fold-out flash of the 60D is able to control Canon system flashes (master function)."
