President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Vice President Joseph Biden during a more than 4-hour meeting in Davos agreed to coordinate action for a ceasefire in the Donbass. It is reported by the press service of the Ukrainian president. “We came to the conclusion that the alternative to the Minsk process does not exist. We have the full support of the United States of America regarding the full implementation of the Minsk process, which has a component in the security sphere, - the press service quoted the statement of the Ukrainian president. - We agreed on coordinated action, which should ensure the cease-fire, shelling, free access of the ad hoc monitoring mission of the OSCE in the storage facilities of heavy weapons to the border. We agreed on the coordination of actions to enhance the release of Ukrainian hostages, “In addition, the parties coordinated steps to intensify the political process, including Elections to the uncontrolled territory of Kiev Donbass. Also during the meeting discussed US support for Ukrainian reforms and intensification of military-technical cooperation. “We have agreed to continue and intensify this cooperation”, - the press service quoted Poroshenko.
