Oliver Stone commented on people’s reactions to his interview with Yanukovych

Hollywood director Oliver Stone said that the United States never ceased to use Ukraine as a springboard to fight first with the Soviet Union and now Russia.

Famous film director Oliver Stone, which caused his recent interview with the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych massive wave of controversial comments, tried to explain his position.

“I appeal to those who are dissatisfied with my yesterday’s analysis of the situation in Ukraine. Please, try to understand my position. He also recalled that in 1949, US Secretary of Defense James Forrestal in collaboration with the CIA created a guerrilla movement, codenamed “Nightingale”, which consisted of Ukrainian ultra-nationalists.
