United States concerned about reports of the use of cluster bombs in Ukraine

WASHINGTON, October 25. United States concerned about reports of the use of cluster bombs in Ukraine.

“We are concerned about reports of the use of cluster munitions,” - said the deputy representative of the United States to the UN, David Pressman, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

At the same time, he recalled that the Ukrainian government has denied the use of such weapons.

Recall accusations against the Ukrainian military previously made international human rights organization “Human Rights Watch”. According to HRW, the use of cluster munitions “Hurricane” and “Tornado” was recorded in more than 12 locations in the Donbas. In this case, HRW said about the “compelling evidence”, according to which the use of these weapons involved the Ukrainian military.

Later, however, the OSCE representatives have denied this information.
